2-Week Basic Sewing Skills Course
2-WEEK EVENING COURSE will run @The Studio in Holmer Green on the following dates:
Thursday 25th September & 2nd October 2025 7.30pm-9.30pm
£70 Suitable for beginners. 4 hour course
In this 2-Week Basic Sewing Course I will be demonstrating and teaching a number of simple sewing techniques that will be super useful for all of your future projects. The course will cover (but not necessarily in this order!):
Threading your sewing machine
Winding bobbins
Sewing machine feet and their uses
Using different machine stitches
Button holes
Seams & Hems
Basic equipment and tools

Make Your Own Apron - Sewing Class
Saturday 18th October 2025 from 10am - 2pm @The Pavilion in Penn Street, Amersham
£75 per person. Suitable for beginners
In this one day workshop you will learn how to make a cross-back apron.
I will gently guide you from cutting your fabric right through to those lovely finishing touches that make your apron uniquely yours.
Make Your Own Christmas Pyjamas '25
Saturday 8th November 10-4pm @The Pavilion in Penn Street, Amersham
£85 per person Suitable for beginners
In this one-day workshop you will learn how to make a pair of pyjama bottoms.
I will gently guide you through everything from adjusting and then cutting out the pattern right through to the final touches to make your piece really yours.

Basic Sewing Skills - Make a Zipped Bag

£45 per person 2 hour course
In this evening workshop we will learning all about zips by making a really cute small zipped bag. I will guide you through every part of the process, from cutting out the pattern and choosing your fabric right through to adding the zip. All you have to do is decide whether your bag is a make-up bag, pencil case or small clutch bag!
