121 Sewing Machine Summer Classes for 11+
2-hour private sewing session, at your home, using your machine or ours if you don't have one. This is suitable for children aged 11 years and over. All material & equipment provided. I bring everything to you!
🏡 A parent or guardian must remain in the house during the lesson.
During the session, your child will learn:
How to safely use a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, thread the machine, sew a variety of stitches and as well as make a simple project, such as a small purse.
The lesson is relaxed, fun and designed for complete beginners.
While your child is busy learning a new skill, you can catch up on work, enjoy a cup of tea, or simply take a well-earned break!

Group class - 4 hour Basic Machine Sewing Skills Course
This is a 4-hour course split over 2-weeks and takes place at The Pavilion, Penn Street, HP7 0PX on the following dates:

In this 2-Week Basic Sewing Course I will be demonstrating and teaching a number of simple sewing techniques that will be super useful for all of your future projects. The course will cover (but not necessarily in this order!):
Threading your sewing machine
Winding bobbins
Sewing machine feet and their uses
Using different machine stitches
Button holes
Seams & Hems
Basic equipment and tools

Group Class - Sew Your Own Summer Trousers

In this one-day workshop you will learn how to make a pair of pyjama bottoms.
I will gently guide you through everything from adjusting and then cutting out the pattern right through to the final touches to make your piece really yours.

Group Class - Basic Sewing Skills - Make a Zipped Bag

In this evening workshop we will learning all about zips by making a really cute small zipped bag. I will guide you through every part of the process, from cutting out the pattern and choosing your fabric right through to adding the zip. All you have to do is decide whether your bag is a make-up bag, pencil case or small clutch bag!
