Intro To Sewing Workshop - Make Your Own Summer Trousers
Saturday, 26th of July 10-4pm @The Studio in Holmer Green
£85 per person Suitable for beginners
In this one-day workshop you will learn how to make a pair of pyjama bottoms.
I will gently guide you through everything from adjusting and then cutting out the pattern right through to the final touches to make your piece really yours.

Summer School '25 - FAMILY Sewing Workshop
Wednesday, 30th July 2025 from 10-1pm @The Studio in Holmer Green
10am to 1pm. £35 per person. Suitable for beginners
Suitable for adults and children aged 12+Children must be accompanied by an adult (but the adult doesn't have to be making or booked on!)
At this fun 3 hour workshop I will be demonstrating and teaching how to use your sewing machine. At the end of the session we'll be putting our new skills to the test and making a colourful purse to take home. The course will cover (but not necessarily in this order!):
Threading your sewing machine, winding bobbins, using different stitches on machine and making a purse.

2-Week Basic Sewing Skills Course

£70 Suitable for beginners. 4 hour course
In this 2-Week Basic Sewing Course I will be demonstrating and teaching a number of simple sewing techniques that will be super useful for all of your future projects. The course will cover (but not necessarily in this order!):
Threading your sewing machine
Winding bobbins
Sewing machine feet and their uses
Using different machine stitches
Button holes
Seams & Hems
Basic equipment and tools

Basic Sewing Skills - Make a Zipped Bag

£45 per person 2 hour course
In this evening workshop we will learning all about zips by making a really cute small zipped bag. I will guide you through every part of the process, from cutting out the pattern and choosing your fabric right through to adding the zip. All you have to do is decide whether your bag is a make-up bag, pencil case or small clutch bag!
